Position: Garden Machinery Repair Mechanic

  • Work location: Via Guglielmo Marconi 2, 20071 Vermezzo con Zelo (MI)
  • Contract type: Full Time (also with VAT number)
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30 am – 12:30 pm / 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Position Description

We are looking for a mechanic specializing in the repair and maintenance of garden machinery to join our team.
The resource will handle technical interventions on both internal combustion and electric/electronic machinery, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality of service.

Main tasks

  • Diagnosis, maintenance and repair of:
  • Chainsaws, Lawnmowers, Ride-on Mowers, Robotic Lawnmowers, Rotary Cultivators, Motor Mowers, and other Garden/Agricultural Machinery
  • Disassembly and reassembly of mechanical and electrical components
  • Fault finding and replacement of worn parts
  • Testing of the machines after the intervention
  • Ordinary management of the workshop and work tools
  • Possible contact with the customer for technical explanations
  • Use of the internal computerized repair system to manage interventions, processes and spare parts
  • Exploded Reading

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in repairing garden machinery or light agricultural machinery
  • Good knowledge of internal combustion engines (2 and 4 stroke)
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
  • Manual dexterity, precision and operational autonomy
  • Problem solving skills
  • Driving licence B (preferred)
  • Familiarity with IT tools and management software
  • Work location: In person
  • Use of forklift (plus welcome)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork
  • Willingness to discuss with the end customer (repair negotiation, with clear explanation)
  • Experience with robotic lawnmowers
  • Knowledge of gardening brands (Husqvarna, McCulloch, Jonsered, Stiga, Alpina, Castelgarden, Toro, Ibea, BCS, Efco, Oleo-Mac, Bertolini, Nibbi, Iseki, Orec, Snapper, Simplicity, Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Kawasaki, VM Motori, Kohler, Lombardini, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Worx, MTD, Cub Cadet, Gianni Ferrari, Al-Ko, Goldoni, Zenoah, Eurosystem, Mosa, John Deere, Stihl, Pasquali, Kasei, Comet, Annovi Reverberi (among the main ones)
  • Diploma or technical qualification (mechanical, electromechanical or similar)
