Where to find the serial number, model name and other data of a Husqvarna product

The serial number and other product information is needed to register your Husqvarna product, find the right spare parts or request customer support.

Find the serial number and other product information on different Husqvarna products:

On the operating data plate attached to the product

In most cases, the serial number and other information are located on the product itself. The appearance of a product data plate or rating plate and the information it contains may vary depending on the product type, model, or year of manufacture. It is usually a metal or plastic plate, label, or sticker attached to the product.

Below are some examples of what an operating data plate might look like:

Robot lawnmower

  • Robot lawnmower with display door: under the display door.
  • Robot lawnmowers without display door: under the mower on the frame or on the back of the frame, under the cover.
  • Charging station: on the charging station tower.

Grass cutting (garden tractors, front-end mowers, etc.)

  • Front-mounted ride-on mowers (Rider): inside the frame, under the seat.
  • Push mower: on the rear of the cutting deck.
  • Garden tractors: under the seat.
  • Zero-Turn Mower: On the left side of the frame, near the engine.

Chainsaws

  • On the bar side of the saw, under the handle.
  • On the bar side, under the clutch cover.
  • Next to the chain oil cap.
  • Battery-powered chainsaws: in the battery compartment.

Brush cutters and trimmers

  • Trimmer: On the housing, on the motor or on the ring handle.
  • Battery-powered brush cutters: in the battery compartment.
  • Hedge trimmer: on the housing, on the motor or on the ring handle.
  • Battery-powered hedge trimmer: in the battery compartment.
  • Brush cutters: on the shaft or on the engine.

Soil, lawn and green space care

  • Blowers: on the nozzle or under the handlebars.
  • Backpack blowers: on the orange housing where the hose connects.

In the Husqvarna Connect app

If your product has been added to the Husqvarna Connect app, you can find product data and other specific technical data, such as dimensions, capacity, charging times and noise level in the app.

  1. Open the Husqvarna Connect app.
  2. Select the product.
  3. Tap Support > Technical Specifications .

On MyPages

If the product has been registered, some of this data is available in MyPages .

Product code

The product code (sometimes called PNC or article code ) is a nine-digit number that identifies the product model, usually starting with 9 or 5. Together with the serial number, the product code becomes a unique identifier for the product that can be used to identify the product and to register it on MyPages or add it to Husqvarna apps, such as Husqvarna Connect or Automower® Connect.

Serial number

The serial number includes information about the product's manufacturing date and a sequential number. The exact data and how to read the serial number varies.

Some examples:

  • 202701755 – AASSNNNNN

  • 112221X123456 – MMDDAAletterNNNNNN

A = year
S = week
DD = day of the month
N = sequential number

Husqvarna ID and QR code

Some products come with a Husqvarna ID, a code that can be used to identify the unique product and register it on MyPages or add it to Husqvarna apps, such as Husqvarna Connect.

The Husqvarna ID, or HID, includes information about the product's manufacturing date and a sequential number.

To be read like this:

[37] week of production
[4] day of the week, 1-7, Monday to Sunday

Many products also include a QR code that you can scan with your phone or similar device for the same purposes.
