When purchasing spare parts , it is often advisable to accurately identify the parts you need using the exploded view drawings (IPL – Illustrated Parts List) specific to your machine (not all blades, belts or screws are the same).
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) provides these diagrams and parts lists to authorized dealers and service centers like us, to ensure that repairs are performed correctly and safely, using genuine OEM parts .
The model identification plate contains the exact model number of your machine and, in many cases, other very useful information such as the serial number , which may be needed to locate the correct IPL.
Portable equipment (such as chainsaws) generally have only one model plate.
Wheeled equipment (such as lawnmowers) typically has two labels: one on the machine and one on the engine.
The type plate is an adhesive label or metal plate , attached to the machinery in a location away from moving parts or areas subject to dirt and debris.
